Group lessons are for ages 4 and up with classes taught in six stations. New swimmers will be evaluated and placed at a station based on their current skill level. Swimmers will advance from station to station at their own pace as they learn and can consistently perform the skills taught at each station. Our teaching progression emphasizes correct body position, stroke and kick, breathing and timing of the strokes while focusing on basic water safety, fitness and fun.

Ages 5-8 - 36’ x 18’ court - shorter nets - 18”-20” rackets. This class revolves entirely around having FUN, developing hand-eye coordination, and introducing basic stroke fundamentals. Proper rallying and serving aspects are explored while students are exposed to the basic rules of the game. This program is for participants 5-8 years old. Offered in partnership with Vetta Sports. Ages 9-10 - 60’ court - 23’’-25” rackets. This class encourages students to rally in a controlled fashion while learning the basics of score keeping. Singles and doubles are introduced as players can begin to play actual points on the age appropriate shortened courts. Offered in partnership with Vetta Sports. Ages 11-12 - standard court - 26”-27” rackets. This is a transitional class for players moving from orange classes to full-9-12size court with green tennis balls. Stroke fundamentals are still covered, but there is an introduction to strategy-based drills. Offered in partnership with Vetta Sports.
