Adult Master Lap Fitness Swimming - May through August
Try our coached master swim program or do your own workout. All swimming abilities and fitness levels are welcome. Workouts will be given to help adults who still compete, former swimmers, or triathletes looking to improve. Ages 18+. Sign up for the 4 month session of unlimited swims, or purchase a 3, 6, or 12 swims Stamp Card. The Stamp Cards do not expire. Schedule* 5:00am – 6:30am, Monday through Saturday, Crestview Outdoor Pool7:00am – 8:30am, Sunday, Crestview Outdoor Pool10:30am – 12:00pm, Tuesday/Thursday/Friday, Marquette High School 1:30pm - 3pm, Mondays and Wednesday, Crestview Outdoor Pool 6:30pm - 8pm, Mondays and Wednesdays, Crestview Outdoor Pool *Practice times and locations subject to change based on pool availability and weather. Midday practices will likely be at the Crestview Outdoor Pool in May and resuming back there again some time in August. The evening practices will start in June and end sometime in early August. -
Gateway Swim Club - Butterfly & Breaststroke Clinic
Our first clinic is designed to help swimmers improve their butterfly and breaststroke while having fun and learning from Gateway coaches and National Team swimmers. Whether you're new to these strokes or looking to build confidence, this clinic is for you! Adaptive Swim Lessons, Session 11 (Please See Class Description for Reserved Population)
Adaptive Swim Lessons are private swim lessons that are geared towards the needs of the participants who may have (but not limited to) a social, emotional, cognitive, or physical impairment, and who may not benefit from the “traditional” swim lesson setting. Participants are paired 1:1 with an instructor, and are able to work on any goal that pertains to the child’s needs (i.e. sensory experience, basic swimming skills, gross motor or fine motor skills, etc.) -
Preschool: Session 11 (Week of June 22); Crestview Middle School
The preschool lesson program is designed to introduce 3-5 year olds to proper breathing, front/back float and kicking techniques. When they can be done on a consistent basis, the child will continue to freestyle and backstroke. After they have reached the age of four, they may be moved to the Swim School Group Lessons. We still have spring availability HERE. -
Swim School Group Lessons: Session 11 (Week of June 22); Crestview Middle School
Group lessons are for ages 4 and up with classes taught in six stations. New swimmers will be evaluated and placed at a station based on their current skill level. Swimmers will advance from station to station at their own pace as they learn and can consistently perform the skills taught at each station. Our teaching progression emphasizes correct body position, stroke and kick, breathing and timing of the strokes while focusing on basic water safety, fitness and fun. We still have spring availability HERE. -
