Bowles Elementary E-Hour Session 3: Bricks 4 Kidz: Minecraft Gaming
Come join your friends who share your love of Minecraft. We will start learning basics and advance to traps and redstone. We provide tablets, but feel free to bring your own to work on your own world. All participants take home a pick axe pencil. Bricks 4 Kidz has been operating in St Louos since 2011. We offer STEM- based after school programs that are both educational and fun. Ignite your child’s curiosity, fuel their passion and unlock their full potential with our STEAM programs, in an environment where learning is celebrated, friendships are made and tomorrow’s innovators are shaped. Community Ed Youth GIRLS Basketball League: Grade 8
Whether you’re just playing for fun or ready to level up, we’ve got a spot for you! Divisions include Rec (for building skills and fundamentals), Rec Plus (intermediate play), and new in 2025—the Competitive Division for high-level teams. Sign up individually or form a team with friends. Practices start the week of November 3; games begin December 6. Volunteer coaches needed! (no games 12/20 or 12/27) HOW TO REGISTER: I HAVE A COACH: Go to your team coach and click enroll now. You will get a unique passcode from your coach to register. I HAVE A COACH BUT DO NOT SEE THEIR NAME: Enroll in NEW TEAM, and when your coach registers, you will be moved to their team. I DO NOT HAVE A COACH: Enroll for the NEW TEAM. This will put you on a waiting list and we will be able to form teams. Teams set up online are by coach recommendation only. If your coach has contacted you about our Basketball League, and he/she is having a team, please sign up on their individual team. If not, proceed to sign up for the NEW TEAM and enroll - we will move your enrollment to your coach when they register. New Team: If you are not on a coach's roster, please sign up for the New Team and we will do our best to place you on a team. (All registrations will be put on a waitlist so that you will not be charged until you are placed on a team.) Practices and games held at various Parkway and Rockwood schools. This class includes a step-by-step guide and all the materials needed to create different ornament styles. Each of our adult programs includes an option to ‘pay a little more'. All funds raised help to provide enriching and engaging experiences for youth, families, and adults in need of financial assistance. Gold Card members (Parkway and Rockwood district residents ages 50 and older) receive a 50% discount for this class. The discounted rate will automatically be applied at checkout. You must have a Gold Card issued in your name to receive the discounted rate. If you do not have a Gold Card and would like to request one, complete an online request form. Get in the game with Skyhawks Pickleball, gateway to the fastest‐growing paddle sport! This program develops and sharpens pickleball skills like groundstrokes, volleys, and serves in a fun environment while focusing on teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect. Come experience this lively sport while building confidence and appreciation for pickleball! Skyhawks St. Louis provides classes and camps to ages 2-14 across 10 different sports. Our programs give participants a fun, laid-back environment to learn the basics of a sport and to develop athletic and life skills. Santa's Workshop: Handmade for the Holidays!
Step into the magic of the season when you become a part of Santa's Workshop! Little elves (a.k.a. kids) are invited to spread the joy as they create holiday-inspired gifts straight from the heart. From handmade ornaments to cozy cards and keepsakes, kids will create special holiday treasures to gift to loved ones. All materials are provided; just bring the holiday cheer and imagination! Smoky Mountains Adventure 2026
The Smoky Mountains Adventure trips are open to Rockwood students entering fifth grade in the fall of 2025. Travel to the Great Smoky Mountains for an adventure-packed four days exploring the wilderness, searching for wildlife, learning about the environment and developing leadership skills. Stay at the Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont, an environmental education center located within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You may only register for the lottery for your child's assigned school trip. You may not register for another school's trip. You only need to register one time for each child. All those registering for the lottery will have an equal chance to be drawn for the trip, regardless of when they register between May 1-September 30. Families can still register for the trip after October 1. There is no guarantee all students will be placed on a trip. If a trip is full, you have the option to register for the wait list and you will be contacted if/when a space becomes available. For example, it can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve confidence and self-esteem, and promote a sense of community and camaraderie among practitioners.
