  • Adult Master Lap Fitness Swimming - September through December

    Try our coached master swim program or do your own workout. All swimming abilities and fitness levels are welcome. Workouts will be given to help adults who still compete, former swimmers, or triathletes looking to improve. Ages 18+. Sign up for the 4 month session of unlimited swims, or purchase a 3, 6, or 12 swims Stamp Card. The Stamp Cards do not expire. Schedule* 5:00am – 6:30am, Monday through Saturday, Crestview Outdoor Pool 7:00am – 8:30am, Sunday, Crestview Outdoor Pool 10:30am – 12:00pm, Monday through Friday, Crestview Outdoor Pool *Practice times and locations subject to change based on pool availability and weather. Midday practices will move to the Crestview indoor pool when the outdoor pool closes around mid-October. Early morning practices will move to Marquette High School when the outdoor pool closes.     Tryouts for Rockwood Swim Club are set up in 10 minute increments. Sign up for the best time for your schedule. Lafayette High School | 5:30-6:30 p.m. July 30 and July 31 Rockwood Swim Club Tryout Requirements: Basic Requirements for Scheduling a Tryout Have been in swim lessons, swim team or a summer league team If in SwimSchool need to be station 6 or higher For 10 & Under need to be able to swim at minimum length of the pool of each of the following: freestyle with breathing to side, backstroke, and parts of breaststroke and butterfly legal (either arms legal or kick legal) For 11 & Over need to be legal in all four strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly) have general knowledge of flip turns, ability to swim a minimum of 200 yards (8 lengths of the pool) continuously Things to bring to Tryouts: Swim suit, towel, googles, swim cap For more information about the club, please visit the Rockwood Swim Club website.
