Play with clay! Participants will be introduced to a variety of clay techniques such as molding, shaping and texturing while exploring the fundamentals of 3-D design. The parent/child classes are designed to have parents in the pool with their child age six months through two years old. Through the use of songs and games, we will offer the opportunity for the parent and child to work together and learn skills that will be necessary in other Swim School lessons.

The preschool lesson program is designed to introduce 3-5 year olds to proper breathing, front/back float and kicking techniques. When they can be done on a consistent basis, the child will continue to freestyle and backstroke. After they have reached the age of four, they may be moved to the Group Lessons.

Group lessons are for ages 4 and up with classes taught in six stations. New swimmers will be evaluated and placed at a station based on their current skill level. Swimmers will advance from station to station at their own pace as they learn and can consistently perform the skills taught at each station. Our teaching progression emphasizes correct body position, stroke and kick, breathing and timing of the strokes while focusing on basic water safety, fitness and fun.
