Join us for an exciting morning exploring essential survival concepts. Learn how to use nature to your advantage, from staying warm to protecting yourself from the elements. This condensed survival class will focus on practical skills for staying safe, plus other hands-on nature-based activities. There is no transportation for this class. 

Youth Beginner Archery | 9:30-11:00 a.m. | Grades entering 6-8 | Babler Outdoor Education Center | $19 | July 9 *this camp has been canceled
Ready, aim, fire! Discover the fundamentals of archery, a precision sport you can continue enjoying at local ranges throughout St. Louis County. All equipment is provided, and bows are sized appropriately for participants ages 10 and up. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this class is perfect for all levels. Taught by Community Ed instructor, Bertha Doar. There is no transportation for this class. 

Fire! From Spark to Bonfire | 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. | Grades entering 6-8 | Babler Outdoor Education Center | $29 | July 11 *this camp has been canceled
Fires offer everything from providing clean water to creating memorable moments with friends. Join our experienced instructors for a hands-on session where you'll learn the essentials of building and maintaining a fire in a fun, safe environment. Explore unconventional fire-starting techniques like flint and steel, and wrap up the morning by cooking your very own s'mores! Thee is no transportation for this class.

BABLER OEC OUTPOST

BablerWiLD:Wk 6: Summer of Color | 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. | Grades entering K-6 | Babler OEC Outpost | $279
Enjoy a week full of color! Throw color powder during a mini color run, make amazing tie-dye creations and prepare for fun! Continue the fun with classic BablerWiLD games and color-themed activities.

BablerWiLD is an outdoor and nature-based summer day camp located inside Babler Memorial State Park. Each week includes BablerWiLD's favorite activities such as creek walks, tag games, arts and crafts as well as specialty activities based around each week's individual theme. Please send your camper to camp each day with a water bottle, lunch, two (2) snacks, bug spray and sunscreen.

Transportation options include:

1. Parent drop off (Drop off between 8:30 am-9 am & Pick Up between 3-3:30 pm)
2. Bus transportation from Blevins Elementary (Drop off between 7:35 am-7:45 am & Pick Up between 4:10 pm-4:25pm)
3. Bus transportation from Bowles Elementary (Drop off between 8-8:10 am & Pick Up between 3:45 pm-4 pm)
4. Bus transportation from Highcroft Ridge Elementary (Drop off between 8:25 am-8:35 am & Pick Up between 3:20 pm-3:35 pm)
