BABLER OUTDOOR EDUCATION CENTER

Have fun and celebrate our abilities! This dynamic camp is designed for youth with intellectual or physical impairments and offers outdoor and indoor activities geared towards social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through recreation and leisure. This camp fosters an improved quality of life by promoting physical fitness, independence and socialization all while engaging in traditional summer camp activities.

Bricks 4 Kidz Mario Bros | 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. | Grades entering 1-6 | Babler Outdoor Education Center | $165
In this interactive building bricks summer camp, campers will use LEGO® bricks to build different characters from their favorite video games. With themes such as Super Mario Bros, Roblox, Beyblades, Pokémon and Minecraft, characters come to life through the use of robots, mosaics, and 3D art... all made from LEGO® Bricks. Each day will be a new adventure as virtual and LEGO® worlds combine! All campers take home a custom-made minifigure. Offered in Partnership with Bricks 4 Kidz.

Ready for a thrilling challenge? Join the Bricks 4 Kidz Master Challenge, inspired by the dynamic LEGO Masters TV show! This camp is a playground for budding master builders. Each day brings exciting new challenges, where campers will learn advanced LEGO techniques, collaborate on imaginative projects, and test their creativity. From constructing towering structures to engineering moving creations, it's a journey of innovation, teamwork and endless fun. Step into the role of a master builder and create wonders with LEGO – sign up now and let the epic building challenge begin! All campers take home a custom-made minifigure. Offered in partnership with Bricks 4 Kidz.

Youth Beginner Archery | 9:30-11:00 a.m. | Grades entering 6-8 | Babler Outdoor Education Center | $19 | August 6
Ready, aim, fire! Discover the fundamentals of archery, a precision sport you can continue enjoying at local ranges throughout St. Louis County. All equipment is provided, and bows are sized appropriately for participants ages 10 and up. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this class is perfect for all levels.Taught by Community Ed instructor, Bertha Doar. There is no transportation for this class. 

Outdoor Survival Basics | 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. | Grades entering 6-8 | Babler Outdoor Education Center | $29 | August 6
Join us for a morning of hands-on learning as we introduce the concept of knots and lashing through engaging activities and games. Lashings are an integral part of almost any survival structure from rafts to shelters. By the end, you'll have the skills to ensure your next survival shelter stays intact! There is no transportation for this class.
