Learn the ABCs backpacking from how to pack to what to bring and why. Once you know the fundamentals of backpacking, you are sure to be safe and comfortable on overnight or multi-day trips into nature.

Hi, everyone! I am Mike Dowell, after obtaining a degree in Outdoor Leadership & Recation, and was a Backcountry Trips Director in Wyoming, where I trained backpacking and horsepacking guides for many seasons, and can't wait to share this knoweldge and my experience of all things backcountry!
