Come along for the adventure with the Happy Hour Hiking Club! Each month, we explore a new scenic trail with a guide who shares interesting local history along the way. After the hike, unwind with a thoughtfully curated seasonal mocktail and light snacks, all while soaking in the beauty of nature. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just looking for a fun way to get outside, this guided experience is the perfect way to connect, learn, and enjoy the great outdoors—one trail at a time!

Session 1: Friday, September 5 | Babler Memorial State Park | 5:30-7:30 p.m. | $35 ($17.50 Gold Card, $29.75 Silver Card)
Session 2: Friday, October 3 | Cliff Cave County Park | 5:30-7:30 p.m. | $35 ($17.50 Gold Card, $29.75 Silver Card)
Session 3: Saturday, November 8 | West Tyson County Park | 9-11 a.m. | $35 ($17.50 Gold Card, $29.75 Silver Card)
Session 4: All three Hikes | September 5, October 3, November 8 | $105 ($52.50 Gold Card, $89.25 Silver Card)

Pay a little more and help others enjoy learning and fun with Community Ed! Each of our adult programs includes an option to pay a little more. All funds raised help to provide enriching and engaging experiences for youth, families, and adults in need of financial assistance.


Gold Card members (Parkway and Rockwood district residents ages 50 and older) receive a 50% discount for this class. The discounted rate will automatically be applied at checkout. You must have a Gold Card issued in your name to receive the discounted rate. If you do not have a Gold Card and would like to request one, complete an online request form. For any questions, please call us at 636-891-6644.


Silver Card members (residents outside of the Parkway and Rockwood districts ages 50 and older) receive a 15% discount for this class. The discounted rate will automatically be applied at checkout. You must have a Silver Card membership to receive the discounted rate (you will not receive a physical card). If you are not registered for a Silver Card and would like to register, complete this online request form. Note: the Silver card does not provide free/reduced admission to Parkway or Rockwood High School sponsored events.

I am an avid hiker and love leading the hiking programs with Parkway-Rockwood Community Education! As a former teacher, I really enjoy learning about new things and sharing that with others. In my free time, I like hiking with my children and traveling.
