Future Coders: Learn to create with Scratch! In this fun and interactive course, future coders will learn computer programming using Scratch, a creative platform developed by MIT that blends logic with imagination. Through a series of exciting projects, students will build interactive storyboards and games featuring audio, video, and animated characters. As they explore the world of coding, students will develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and digital design skills. Best of all, Scratch is free to use, so students can continue creating and learning at home long after the course ends. Offered in partnership with Nexplore USA. Rockwood students may use their school-provided Chromebooks. Students from outside the Rockwood district are welcome but must bring their own laptop or Chromebook.
