Robotics with Edison: Learn to code, build and explore! This experience combines computational thinking, computer programming, and hands-on STEM education in an engaging and accessible way. Edison is a safe, programmable robot designed to introduce students to the world of coding and robotics. In Nexplore Robotics, students advance through different programming levels as their skills grow, starting with icon-based drag-and-drop coding, progressing to block-based coding, and eventually moving into text-based programming. Through exploration, iteration, and collaboration, students build essential 21st-century skills and grow their confidence in problem-solving and technology. Offered in partnership with Nexplore USA. Parkway students may use their school-provided Chromebooks. Students from outside the Parkway district are welcome but must bring their own laptop or Chromebook.
