The Little Book Workshop

*Youth Programs / Youth Winter/Spring Programs / Youth Arts & Enrichment -
2025-26 Winter/Spring Catalog

In this hands-on art class, kids will discover the fun of making their own handmade books! Using simple bookbinding techniques, they’ll transform paper into one-of-a-kind sketchbooks, journals, or storybooks. Along the way, kids will design creative pages, decorate their covers, and turn blank sheets into spaces for drawing, writing, or collecting ideas. By the end of class, each student will take home a unique book they built themselves, ready to be filled with imagination. This course is a drop-off program. Instructor: Erica Harvey

Instructor

ERICA HARVEY

I hold a BA in Fashion Design and an MFA in Industrial Design, blending creativity with practical design skills. I’ve been a maker and artist since the age of five, always exploring new ways to bring ideas to life. Over the years, I’ve worked across many mediums, from textiles to product design, and continue to expand my creative practice. My passion is helping others discover the joy of making and building confidence through hands-on projects. I believe art should be playful, accessible, and a lifelong adventure.
