Mini Bow and Arrow Workshop

*Youth Programs / Youth Winter/Spring Programs / Youth Arts & Enrichment / Youth Visual & Performing Arts -
2025-26 Winter/Spring Catalog

In this hands-on class, students will learn to build three different styles of miniature bows and arrows using everyday materials like Q-tips, popsicle sticks, and rubber bands. Along the way, they’ll explore creativity, design, and problem-solving while discovering how simple objects can transform into playful inventions. Each bow will have its own unique look and function, giving students a collection of mini creations to test and enjoy. This project focuses on imagination, building skills, and a little bit of friendly fun. This course is a drop-off program. Instructor: Erica Harvey

ERICA HARVEY

I hold a BA in Fashion Design and an MFA in Industrial Design, blending creativity with practical design skills. I’ve been a maker and artist since the age of five, always exploring new ways to bring ideas to life. Over the years, I’ve worked across many mediums, from textiles to product design, and continue to expand my creative practice. My passion is helping others discover the joy of making and building confidence through hands-on projects. I believe art should be playful, accessible, and a lifelong adventure.
