Fossil Hunt and ID
Climb in and get dirty searching for fossils in our dry creek bed. See the power of water that shaped and continually reshapes our valley while climbing around obstacles. Identify the fossils you find and learn about the role oceans played in forming these fossils right here in Missouri! Please wear closed-toe shoes that are ok to get a bit muddy. We will be exploring a creek bed that has an extremely uneven walking surface. Participants may not take any fossils home but can take plenty of pictures! Masks are required for age 9 and up when closer than 6 feet apart.
