Falling Leaves and Cider Hikes
Join us for a weekly guided hike through breathtaking trails as we experience the stunning beauty of fall! With every step, you’ll be surrounded by vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows, making this the perfect way to immerse yourself in the season. Our guide will lead the way, sharing insights about the trail along with local history as we make our way through scenic paths. Each week we will visit a different trail, highlighting the best of St. Louis hiking, all within a one hour drive of your home. All trails are marked easy to moderate and will average 2-3 miles. After the hike, enjoy a cup of hot cider while making new friends. It’s the ideal way to embrace the fall season, connect with nature, and unwind with friends or fellow nature lovers. Come along for the adventure with the Happy Hour Hiking Club! Each month, we explore a new scenic trail with a guide who shares interesting local history along the way. After the hike, unwind with a thoughtfully curated seasonal mocktail and light snacks, all while soaking in the beauty of nature. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just looking for a fun way to get outside, this guided experience is the perfect way to connect, learn, and enjoy the great outdoors—one trail at a time! Wildflower Walks
Watch the woods come back to life as we visit glades, prairies, forests and other unique ecosystems. See the variety of native wildflowers blossom. This series will be held on a different trail each week. Hiking locations will be released each week prior to the hike and will include state parks and conservation areas in the St. Louis region (within an hour drive of West County). All trails will be marked "easy" to "moderate" and will average 2-3 miles in length. This program is led by CE Instructor, Aimee Gao.
