Tennis
Ages 5-8 - 8 and under (RED BALL) - 36’x18’ court - shorter nets - 18”-20” rackets. This class revolves entirely around having FUN, developing hand-eye coordination, and introducing basic stroke fundamentals. Proper rallying and serving aspects are explored while students are exposed to the basic rules of the game. This program is for participants 5-8 years old. Instructor: Vetta Sports.
Ages 9-12 - 12 and under (ORANGE BALL) - 60’ court - 23’’-25” rackets. This class encourages students to rally in a controlled fashion while learning the basics of score keeping. Singles and doubles are introduced as players can begin to play actual points on the age appropriate shortened courts. Offered in partnership with Vetta Sports.
Ages 13-18 - Middle/High School (YELLOW BALL) - standard court - 27” rackets *NEW FORMAT: DRILL AND PLAY. Designed for the ideal PREPARATION for future and current high school tennis players. An introduction and continued development of strokes, scoring and strategy (DRILL), with an emphasis on live ball and match play situations (PLAY). Super fun, fast-paced and informative! Offered in partnership with Vetta Sports.
