  • Wild Horse Elementary E-Hour Session 1: Planting Seeds: Coding 4 Kids

    Cub Coders Class is open to students! We teach coding through exclusive themes (such as Animals, Sport and Magic) that engage children’s imagination and make coding even more fun. Younger coders will learn with block-based platforms, such as Scratch or CoSpaces, while older students will code with text-based languages, such as Javascript and Python. Students will need a laptop for this class! Planting Seeds Academic Solutions offers engaging, project-based enrichment programs after school—designed to spark curiosity, build real-world skills, and support academic growth in a fun, hands-on learning environment.
  • Wild Horse Elementary E-Hour Session 2: STAGES: Broadway Kids!

    Act! Sing! Dance! This highly energetic class will focus on some of today and yesterday’s best kid friendly Broadway musical sensations such as ANNIE, Mary Poppins, The Music Man, SHREK, The Sound of Music, Wizard of OZ, etc. Students will learn songs, scenes and choreography to put them one step closer to the bright lights of Broadway! Offered in partnership with STAGES St. Louis. All sessions will end in a culminating performance for family and friends the last day of class. | Last Day Performance: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the end of class on the last day.   • Wild Horse Elementary E-Hour Session 3: Nutty Scientists: Robotics and AI

    The robotics and AI program will introduce the children to the Robotics and artificial intelligence world using programmable robots such as Recon Rover, Sphero, and Edison. Children will work in teams and use basic programming commands to control these robots. They will learn to control using printed barcodes and block coding. It does not use computer programming. It gives children the necessary information to know how to start in this world and have fun with it.     Increase critical thinking skills, stimulate intellectual creativity and improve problem solving ability while having a great time playing the game of chess. All skill levels welcome. No prior chess knowledge is necessary. Offered in partnership with Gabriel Boyd and EnPassant Chess Club.
