Oak Brook Elementary E-Hour Session 3: Hip Hop
Hip-Hop is all about creativity, self-expression, and empowerment. Students will learn the rhythms and movements of Hip-Hop, the five elements of Hip-Hop, grooves, fundamentals, history, musicality, and terminology in its relation to the Hip-Hop dance culture. A beginner-friendly Hip-Hop dance combo and education around Hip-Hop. In recent years, hip hop has become one of the most popular music genres in the world, and has had a significant impact on popular culture and fashion. NOTE: Students can only attend E-hour sessions at the school they attend & must be actively enrolled at that school to register for the program. -
Oak Brook Elementary E-Hour Session 4: Skyhawks: Track & Field
Dash, jump, and throw with Skyhawks Track & Field! This program teaches young athletes track and field essentials, from body positioning and stride to stretching and cool‐downs. Participants try events like javelin, discus, and hurdles (events vary by location). Each session builds skills, discipline, and sportsmanship. Get on track with Skyhawks for athletic and personal growth! Skyhawks St. Louis provides classes and camps to ages 2-14 across 10 different sports. Our programs give participants a fun, laid-back environment to learn the basics of a sport and to develop athletic and life skills. NOTE: Students can only attend E-hour sessions at the school they attend & must be actively enrolled at that school to register for the program.
