Adaptive Swim Lessons, Session 08 (Please See Class Description for Reserved Population)
Adaptive Swim Lessons are private swim lessons that are geared towards the needs of the participants who may have (but not limited to) a social, emotional, cognitive, or physical impairment, and who may not benefit from the “traditional” swim lesson setting. Participants are paired 1:1 with an instructor, and are able to work on any goal that pertains to the child’s needs (i.e. sensory experience, basic swimming skills, gross motor or fine motor skills, etc.) -
Swim School Group Lessons: Saturdays A; Crestview Middle School
Group lessons are for ages 4 and up with classes taught in six stations. New swimmers will be evaluated and placed at a station based on their current skill level. Swimmers will advance from station to station at their own pace as they learn and can consistently perform the skills taught at each station. Our teaching progression emphasizes correct body position, stroke and kick, breathing and timing of the strokes while focusing on basic water safety, fitness and fun. -

When they can be done on a consistent basis, the child will continue to freestyle and backstroke. After they have reached the age of four, they may be moved to the Swim School Group Lessons. -
Private Lessons: Saturdays; Crestview Middle School
Private lessons are for ages 3+ and all levels of swimmers who feel they will progress faster with one-on-one private instruction. Lessons will follow the standard program progression but can be tailored to specific needs if requested. -
