Henry Elementary E-Hour Session 1: Bricks 4 Kidz: Jr Robotics
Students build a new model each week and learn to code using LEGO® WeDo based on the Scratch programming platform. It’s the perfect introduction for students eager to explore the exciting world of robotics and programming. All campers take home a custom-made mini figure. Bricks 4 Kidz unlocks students' full potential with our STEAM programs, in an environment where learning is celebrated, friendships are made and tomorrow’s innovators are shaped. All programs are based on LEGO bricks. NOTE: Students can only attend E-hour sessions at the school they attend & must be actively enrolled at that school to register for the program. -
Henry Elementary E-Hour Session 1: Enpassant Chess Club & Beyond
Chess instruction is provided to all students as well as opportunities for chess tournament play. Higher level strategies & tactics are taught to experienced players. No prior experience is required to participate in this chess class. Enpassant Chess Club: A community based chess club of students, adults and families who have been taught chess by Mr. Boyd at some point in the last 28 years. We conduct our own chess club events and tournaments in addition to our participate in local, State and National Tournaments. NOTE: Students can only attend E-hour sessions at the school they attend & must be actively enrolled at that school to register for the program. -

Henry Elementary E-Hour Session 2: Mad Science: Science Surprise
Kids will unbox the surprising world of science as they discover a new STEM topic in each class! In this program, kids explore specialized areas of science, including forensics, meteorology, entomology, and mechanical engineering while gaining science knowledge and building critical thinking skills. Each week, kids bring home a fun take-home science activity to continue their exploration at home. Mad Science of St. Louis is a leading science enrichment provider. We deliver unique, hands-on science experiences for children through after-school programs, birthday parties, workshops, special events, and summer camps. St. Louis Scott Gallagher's Intro to Soccer will teach players the basic fundamental skills of soccer through fun games and drills, including dribbling games, shooting games, juggling and scrimmaging. We’re going back in time and across the globe to uncover the mystery & history behind awe-inspiring human-made landmarks! Each class, kids create a unique landmark-inspired masterpiece while building their skills, confidence, and a sense of wonder. We’ll discover ancient civilizations and the awe-inspiring World Wonders they built. We’ll paint. We’ll sculpt. We’ll build, glue, and cut as each week kids create artwork inspired an amazing epic landmark like the Colosseum, the Taj Majal, Machu Picchu, and the Sphinx. Imagine Arts Academy™ of St. Louis is an art enrichment provider that teaches foundational art techniques with a focus on creative problem-solving and real-world topics.
