River Bend Elementary E-Hour Session 4: Karate
Karate is a martial art that originated in Okinawa, Japan, and has since spread worldwide. It involves a combination of strikes, kicks, and defensive techniques, as well as mental discipline and focus. The primary goal of Karate is to develop physical and mental strength, discipline, and self-defense skills. Practitioners of Karate can improve their physical fitness, balance, coordination, and flexibility, while also learning self-defense techniques and developing mental focus and discipline. Karate can also provide a range of other benefits. For example, it can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve confidence and self-esteem, and promote a sense of community and camaraderie among practitioners.
