Private lessons provide individualized skill and positional training to the player that wants to gain that extra edge on the competition. All of the Rockwood Thunder coaches involved in the private lesson program are highly trained in all individual positions and skills of volleyball. Payment must be made prior to the start of lessons. If payment is not received prior to the start of the lesson, the lesson will need to be rescheduled. We ask that you make payment at least two days in advance. WaitlistSmoky Mountains Adventure 2026Smoky Mountains AdventureThe Smoky Mountains Adventure trips are open to Rockwood students entering fifth grade in the fall of 2025. Travel to the Great Smoky Mountains for an adventure-packed four days exploring the wilderness, searching for wildlife, learning about the environment and developing leadership skills. Stay at the Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont, an environmental education center located within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Smoky Mountains Adventure Trip Dates: Trip 1: March 6-9, 2026 (departs morning of March 6) | Bowles, Kellison, Stanton, Uthoff ValleyTrip 2: March 27-30, 2026 (departs morning of March 27) | Ridge Meadows, Wild Horse, WoertherTrip 3: April 17-20, 2026 (departs morning of April 17) | Ellisville, Kehrs Mill, WestridgeTrip 4: April 24-27, 2026 (departs morning of April 24) | Ballwin, Fairway, Green PinesTrip 5: May 1-4, 2026 (departs morning of May 1) | Babler, Chesterfield, PondTrip 6: May 15-18, 2026 (departs morning of May 15) | Blevins, Eureka, Geggie Fee: $765 Full payment option: Pay the full amount of $765 upon acceptance on the trip. You may only register for the lottery for your child's assigned school trip. You may not register for another school's trip. You only need to register one time for each child. All those registering for the lottery will have an equal chance to be drawn for the trip, regardless of when they register between May 1-September 30. Families can still register for the trip after October 1. There is no guarantee all students will be placed on a trip. If a trip is full, you have the option to register for the wait list and you will be contacted if/when a space becomes available.
